In the summer, Leeds United snapped up goalkeeper Illan Meslier and striker Eddie Nketiah both arrived on loan from Lorient and Arsenal respectively.
However, one player they reportedly missed out on was talented Inter Milan youngster Facundo Colidio.
FC Inter News reported on deadline day that Leeds had deals in place to sign both Irish defender Ryan Nolan and the Argentine striker from the Nerazzurri on deadline day.

However, the deal for both fell through. The report stated that a deal for Colidio collapsed as Leeds would not meet his £5.5 million asking price.
Colidio eventually ended up joining Belgian side Sint-Truiden on loan until the end of the season and for most of the campaign, it appeared Leeds were not missing out.
However, Colidio has burst into form since the turn of the year. After spending much of the start of the season in the reserves or on the bench, he scored one and assisted another in a 2-0 win over Kortrijk in January which saw him find his best form.
In particular, when it comes to assists. From 13 games with the Belgian side this season Colidio has provided seven assists and it is finally clear why Leeds were initially so keen on a potential deal for the player.
Hopefully, he is one that Victor Orta and co keep tabs on going forward.
