Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways in style as they swept Leeds aside in Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff.
Antonio Conte’s Spurs quickly made amends for their midweek loss at Burnley by running out 4-0 winners at Elland Road.
Tottenham hit the ground running and took the lead after just 10 minutes.

Ryan Sessegnon broke clear down the left and delivered a superb cross for Matt Doherty to fire past Illan Meslier.
Five minutes later, Dejan Kulusevski drove into the area from the right flank before slotting home into the near corner.
Tottenham then put the game way beyond Leeds’ reach just before the half-hour mark.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg slotted a sublime ball through to Harry Kane, who sent a composed finish into the far corner.
VAR checked for offside, but the goal rightly stood.
Although Leeds battled hard and had some decent spells, they couldn’t muster up a reply.
And five minutes from time, Spurs added a fourth.
Son Heung-min latched on to Kane’s ball over the top of the home defence and beat Meslier with a smart finish.
That last strike saw Son and Kane set a new Premier League record of 37 goal combinations.
But while Son, Kane and Kulusevski stood out, Doherty also deserves plenty of plaudits.

The 30-year-old has come under criticism at times and was recently linked with a move away from Spurs.
But on Saturday, Doherty showed everyone just what he is capable of.
Not only did the £15million man get his first Tottenham goal, but he combined with Kulusevski for the second.
In addition, Doherty almost set up Sessegnon for a goal with a low ball into the box.
The Irishman impressed at both ends of the pitch and clocked up some impressive statistics.
Right wing-back has been a headache for Conte in recent months.
However, Doherty’s display will have gone a long way to solving that headache if he keeps it up.
