West Ham United appear to have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Tammy Abraham.
According to The Mirror, the 23-year-old would rather join the Hammers than fellow suitors Aston Villa.
And if the report is true, West Ham fans should be excited, because they’d be landing a top striker if they seal the deal.

Admittedly, Chelsea are reportedly looking to use Abraham as a makeweight to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
However, the £58,000-a-week ace apparently sees the appeal of staying in the Premier League, so that could work in West Ham’s favour.
Likewise, the Hammers are set for European football and are a team on the up with David Moyes in charge.
Tammy Abraham: The story so far
Abraham has enjoyed a successful career so far after coming through the ranks at Stamford Bridge.
He took in three loan stints, two of which were especially successful.
Abraham scored 23 Championship goals at Bristol City in 2016-17, helping them survive in the second tier, plus three more in the League Cup.
As a result, he won a clean sweep of club awards – Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer.
The following season, he played for Premier League Swansea, where he scored eight goals in 39 appearances across all competitions.
In 2018-19, Abraham linked up with Aston Villa and, like at Bristol City, was sensational, scoring 26 Championship goals en route to promotion.
Since then, the 6ft 3in marksman has become a regular at Chelsea, making 79 first-team appearances over the past two seasons.
Last season, Abraham lifted the Champions League with Thomas Tuchel’s side.

“Hunger to score goals”
Swansea legend Leon Britton previously compared Abraham to West Ham icon Jermain Defoe.
“Tammy reminds me of Jermain in terms of the hunger to score goals,” Britton told talkSPORT in 2017.
“Sometimes players don’t want to do that, they will look to pass the ball. But Tammy just wants to get on the end of everything, he is very single-minded.
“Jermain has scored nearly 160 goals in the Premier League and Tammy can go on and have a great career like him.”
