Kante who? Well that was the reaction of most in the early months of the season when Champions elect Leicester began their title surge but now he is in the team of the season and regarded as one of the best midfielders in the league. The Frenchman signed for €8 million euros from Caen in 2015 and has since gone on to make his international debut, scoring against Russia.

As a holding central midfielder he has the most interceptions in the league and has bossed his opponents in midfield. Can we think of anyone who needs a holding central midfielder? Arsenal have been crying out for a player like Kante for years, a team no one can deny has attacking flair and talent but lacks defensively. Kante would be a cheaper alternative to some of Europe’s finest, but if Leicester’s success continues, they might struggle to hold onto some of their top talent.
