Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has the chance to catch Mauricio Pochettino’s eye this weekend when he faces Tottenham Hotspur.
Maddison has been in excellent form for the Foxes this season and scored his fifth goal of the campaign in the midweek draw with Fulham.
With two assists to his name as well, it is clear that Maddison has had no problems stepping up to the Premier League after his summer switch from Norwich City.
Considering Tottenham spent most of the summer pursuing Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, as per various reports such as The Daily Mail, Pochettino seems to be looking for a young, English attacking midfielder.

Maddison fits the bill perfectly and Pochettino has a chance to scout the Coventry City academy graduate closely this weekend.
The 22-year-old is Leicester’s biggest attacking threat with his ability to create chances for team-mates and go for goal himself.
With an average of 2.3 key passes per game and a pass success rate of nearly 85 per cent, as per Who Scored, Maddison is a playmaker in the middle.
The England under-21 international, who has also received a senior call-up, has the potential to reach the top of the game and become a Premier League star.
If he can continue his fine form against Tottenham this weekend, he could find himself on their radar in January.
