Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in Paulo Dybala, a player they were linked with several years ago.
Spanish outlet Sport says the Gunners have identified the Juventus star as a potential transfer target for the summer if they fail to agree a permanent move for Martin Odegaard.
Dybala has struggled to find his best form at Juve this season under Andrea Pirlo, who has often gone with Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo up top.

Given the 27-year-old is out of contract next season, Arsenal are reportedly hoping to take advantage of the situation in case they don’t succeed in buying Odegaard.
Before joining Juve, Dybala played for Palermo, and at the time, he was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
When asked about the speculation, he replied, as quoted by Daily Cannon: “Whenever people speak well of me, I’m filled with pride.
“I will not deny that going to Arsenal and playing in the Premier League would be amazing. However, I am aware that my reality right now is Palermo.”
Tottenham Hotspur were also linked with Dybala and reportedly came close signing him in 2019, only for image rights to scupper a deal.
Spanish newspaper Marca have claimed that the Argentina international is rated at £47million.
TBR View:
Dybala is a player of the highest calibre who France legend Michel Platini once named in the same bracket as Diego Maradona, Neymar and Omar Sivori.
“I like Paulo a lot,” the former president of UEFA told Gazzetta dello Sport, translated by Goal.com. “He’s part of the category of players like Maradona, Sivori, Neymar.”
He’d be a great acquisition for Arsenal, but it makes sense that they’d rather go for Odegaard, who’s proven himself at the club already and is younger.
