Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo has hailed his Brazilian countryman Lucas Paqueta for his role in West Ham’s win over Anderlecht.
The club record signing caught the eye with a sensational piece of skill when he brought the ball out of the sky with an incredible touch.
That showed his class on a night where he helped the Hammers record a 1-0 win thanks to Gianluca Scamacca’s goal.
That makes it three wins from three for West Ham in the Conference League so far and they are on the brink of qualification.

After the game, Paqueta took to Instagram to celebrate the victory, posting a message which, when translated, read: “Good victory to give us confidence to continue evolving! Glory to God always.”
Real Madrid star Rodrygo was among the players in the replies congratulating Paqueta on his performance and piece of skill.
The £40 million (Guardian) man joined the likes of Declan Rice and Bruno Guimaraes, who Paqueta played with at Lyon, in the replies.

Paqueta has had to be a little bit patient at West Ham after his big-money move but he is getting his opportunities now and taking them.
You could see from the way the bench reacted to his skill that they know he is a top player who is capable of doing brilliant things.
Now he has to keep it up and get assists and goals which keep the Hammers pushing on after a tricky start to the season.
