Jack Harrison will be a bargain deal for Leeds United at £10 million next summer

Leeds United continued their impressive form since returning to the Premier League with a stunning 3-0 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park on Friday night.

Patrick Bamford was the man of the hour, smashing home a first Premier League hat-trick to give Leeds a fully deserved victory.

However, plenty of the Leeds United players came out of the game with praise, including left-winger Jack Harrison.

The talented wideman was exceptional for Leeds, working tirelessly on the left-hand side and giving the unsupported Matty Cash a torrid time at right-back for Aston Villa.

It continues a remarkable and continuous upturn in form from Harrison ever since he arrived at Leeds.

Marcelo Bielsa struggled to get the best out of him in his first season at Elland Road but Harrison had become better and better and is now thriving in the Premier League.

Leeds can still only call Harrison a temporary player. The 23-year-old is in his third loan spell at the club from Manchester City.

That newly repackaged deal from the summer contains a buying option for Leeds. As former YEP head Phil Hay confirmed on Twitter last month, the fee involved would be £10 million.

Given the form he has already shown in the top-flight, that is £10 million Leeds will happily spend next summer on what would go down as an absolute bargain.
