Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways with a 4-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
Spurs went into the Premier League game at Selhurst Park on the back of two poor post-World Cup results.
And for the first 45 minutes, it looked like Tottenham would suffer a similar fate to that of their last two games.

Palace dominated Spurs and were unlucky not to score against Antonio Conte’s side in the first half.
However, whatever Conte said in the dressing room at half-time clearly worked.
Tottenham’s quality began to shine through after the interval, and it didn’t take them long to open the scoring.
In the 48th minute, Bryan Gil put the ball wide to Perisic on the left, who crossed to the back post.
Harry Kane was on hand to overpower Joel Ward and head home from close range.
Kane grabbed a second goal following great work from Gil on 53 minutes.
Then, Matt Doherty slotted into the bottom-left corner from Son Heung-min’s cut-back.
And on 72 minutes, Son ended his goal drought by scoring his first since September.
Marc Guehi failed to deal with a high ball and Son pounced.
The South Korean’s strike took a deflection on its way into the back of the net.
‘A lot more energy’
It’s not a secret that Tottenham are on the lookout for a new right wing-back this month.
However, Conte will no doubt have been pleased by Doherty’s display.
Aside from scoring, the £15million man delivered a solid performance overall.
Football.london‘s Alasdair Gold awarded Doherty an 8 out of 10 for his efforts on the night.
‘Worked hard down the right and got his reward as he stroked home a left-footed shot for Tottenham’s third goal,’ he wrote.
90Min also gave Doherty 8 out of 10. They wrote: ‘Suddenly played with a lot more energy after half-time and helped make the chance for the killer second goal, before scoring the third.’

As per Whoscored, the Irishman registered some decent stats on the night.
Doherty registered four efforts, with one on target, made two key passes and whipped in two accurate crosses.
He also weighed in with four tackles, one interception, one clearance and one blocked shot.
All in all, a convincing display from an unsung hero for Spurs against Palace.
Even if Conte does bring in a new right wing-back, Doherty will surely stick around as back-up.
