A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to call for Eddie Nketiah to start for Mikel Arteta’s Gunners in tonight’s League Cup clash.
The 21-year-old has taken part in each of Arsenal’s three competitive games this season, featuring in the Community Shield and coming off the bench in both Premier League matches.

Nketiah shone against West Ham last time out, grabbing an 85th-minute winner not long after coming on for the Gunners.
And with Liverpool coming up in the league on Monday, Arteta could well take this opportunity to give his big guns a rest and deploy players who haven’t had as much game time yet.
Nketiah is one of the players being tipped – and urged – to start at the King Power Stadium tonight:
Nketiah registered nine goals in all competitions last season – five on loan at Leeds United and four at Arsenal.
Arteta rates the 21-year-old highly, describing him to the Arsenal website in June as “extraordinary at his age.”
Speaking after the 3-0 loss to Man City, Arteta added: “He has an immense personality to play, confidence, he’s powerful and is developing in every area I think. I have a lot of faith in him.”
