A £30m-rated Leeds United player is now happy to stay at Elland Road despite interest from the Premier League, according to a recent report.

Daniel Farke’s side narrowly missed out on automatic promotion last term and then proceeded to lose in the play-off final to Southampton.

As such, they are preparing for another season in the Championship and there has been an expectancy that many of their best players could leave.

Though, it has just emerged, that one of their star players is now happy to stay.

Crysencio Summerville happy to stay at Leeds United

According to TEAMtalk, Leeds United’s top scorer Crysencio Summerville is happy to stay at the club despite interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham and now Brighton.

The report claims that the 22-year-old has made no plans to depart Elland Road and will instead focus on returning the club back to the top flight.

He is keen to avoid a fallout with the fans and will not push to leave, instead preferring to continue as normal.

Summerville will wait to see how the summer unfolds.

Leeds may have to sell Crysencio Summerville

Regardless of Summerville’s desire to stay, Leeds may be forced to cash in on their prized asset to stay in line with Profit and Sustainability regulations.

The Netherlands youth international has a £30m price tag and one of the aforementioned interested parties are likely to meet that valuation.

So, it remains unlikely that he will be at Leeds another season, unless a number of key assets are sold elsewhere.
