Aaron Ramsdale can’t be happy at Arsenal right now.
The England international goalkeeper is barely getting a game for the Gunners, and that doesn’t look like changing anytime soon.
With the January transfer window open, Ramsdale has been the subject of plenty of speculation as of late, and speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk Podcast, Dan Kilpatrick has suggested that the £30m man may want to leave.
Kilpatrick says he actually spoke to Ramsdale about his future back in October, and based on that conversation, he thinks that he could be open to a move away from the Emirates.

Ramsdale may want to go
Kilpatrick shared his verdict on the goalkeeper.
“Yeah I remember speaking to Ramsdale when he was on England duty I think in October, and he said then that if he couldn’t get in the Arsenal team he’d worry about his England place and would have to consider his options. His prospects of playing now are really bleak and I think from a personal point of view he would be interested in a move, he wants to be in that England squad in the European championships,” Kilpatrick said.
Can’t blame him
It’s really hard to blame Ramsdale if this is indeed his stance.
Ramsdale was arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League last season, and now, he can’t even get off the bench at Arsenal.
His career his stagnating and his international hopes are slowly but surely being dashed.
Ramsdale is more than good enough to be a number one at another Premier League side, and we can’t help but think that a January move is exactly what he needs to get his career back on track.
Don’t be shocked if more and more stories about Ramsdale emerge in the coming weeks as David Raya continues to cement himself as Mikel Arteta’s number one at the Emirates.
