Up: Michail Antonio
West Ham are certainly going places under Slaven Bilic; their win over Tottenham Hotspur left them just a point behind fourth placed Manchester City, with great form to match, and there is a feeling around the Boelyn Ground that this could be a special season.
A big part of that success story is Michail Antonio. Brought in from Championship side Nottingham Forest, it took the English winger a few months to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League. Since the turn of the year, however, Antonio has been magnificent, and his winning goal over Spurs was the fourth home game in a row where he had found the net.
His energy, skill and work rate epitomises West Ham’s stellar season. If he keeps playing like he is, we could be seeing Antonio on the European stage very soon.
