After five straight victories, Leicester City finally dropped points after a bonkers 2-2 draw at the King Power against West Ham United. Ten-man Leicester led with ten minutes to go, but needed a last-gasp penalty from Leonardo Ulloa to rescue a point against the Hammers.
The psychological impact of the draw remains to be seen, but the fact is the Foxes came away from the game with a point, leaving their lead at 5 points after Tottenham’s wonderful 4-0 victory away to Stoke. The title race could well be back on.
At the other end of the table, Aston Villa’s relegation was finally confirmed after another defeat, this time at Old Trafford. However, the battle to avoid the other two places in the drop zone took a big twist after Sunderland won their crucial away game against Norwich. Even Newcastle put themselves back in the survival mixture after a huge 3-0 win at home to Swansea.
It looks as if the battle to see who will remain in the Premier League will last until May, but who has made this week’s 3 up 3 down?
