Up: Harry Kane
There were many question marks over Harry Kane at the start of the season. Despite scoring 30 goals last campaign, many wondered whether Kane would suffer from “second season syndrome” and struggle to replicate his form from 2014/15. He has proved everyone dramatically wrong.
He may have had a slow start to the season, but Kane has scored 18 in his last 21 Premier League games to tie with Jamie Vardy at the top of the Premier League scoring charts. His double over Aston Villa kept Spurs right behind Leicester, as they go for a first league title for 45 years.
Kane simply must be England’s first choice striker for the Euros.
