Up: Eddie Howe
After a difficult start to Bournemouth’s season, with injuries and poor results galore, it looked as if the Cherries first Premier League adventure may be a short one.
Fast forward to March, and the Dorset club can already start planning for a second season in the big time. A win over Swansea; their third on the spin, meant that they had won back-to-back home games for the first time as a Premier League team. They now have 38 points, just two less than struggling champions Chelsea.
This turn in fortune is almost completely down to Eddie Howe, who has done remarkably well with a depleted squad to keep the team playing the same way and gaining results. He is now the highest placed English manager in the league, and he will only get better. What a story we are witnessing at Bournemouth.
