Leicester City may have been in a riotous mood this weekend, coupling their title party with a thumping win over Everton, but there was still plenty to compete for as the 2015/16 season celebrated a sun-kissed penultimate weekend.
Sunderland came from behind against Chelsea to thrillingly edge themselves to within one win of safety. Newcastle, weak in a 0-0 draw against Aston Villa, and Norwich, losers to Manchester United, are now relying on a Sunderland slip-up to have any chance of survival.

As for City, their future under Pep Guardiola looks increasingly like it may start in Europe’s secondary competition.
