After a break for the FA Cup and a busy midweek of fixtures behind them, normal weekend service was resumed for Premier League clubs after an eventful weekend of football.
Saturday was one of the more memorable days of the season, with only Aston Villa and Leicester’s 1-1 draw failing to produce at least three goals from six fantastic fixtures. Chelsea struck late to controversially deny Everton, Manchester City closed the gap on the top 2 by thumping Crystal Palace, whilst Bournemouth and Newcastle eased their relegation fears with impressive wins over Norwich and West Ham respectively.
Sunday was a much more sedate affair, producing only one goal, but Manchester United fans were able to celebrate the joy of a fourth consecutive Premier League win over a disappointed Liverpool. Arsenal capped off the weekend by returning to the top of the table after a hard fought draw at Stoke.
So who made the grade in this weeks 3 up, 3 down?
