3 Up, 3 Down: Featuring Manchester United and Arsenal stars

The new Premier League season is just two weeks old, but it has already given us plenty of unique action to enjoy.

Firstly, the weekend kicked off with Friday Night Football for the first time in the Premier League era. What made this money spinning venture all the more intriguing was the debut of new world record signing Paul Pogba, who returned to Manchester United after an £89 million transfer in a 2-0 win over Southampton. In doing so, the Frenchman became the first world record signing to grace the Premier League in 20 years, Alan Shearer the last to do so.

United’s win meant that they started the season with two straight victories, a feat quickly matched by Manchester City, Chelsea, and most remarkably Hull City, who have defied the odds and their lack of manager to get off to the strongest possible start.

Last season’s top two played out a disappointing draw, whilst Liverpool, stars of the opening weekend, fell to a feeble defeat at the impressive newly promoted Burnley. The other newly promoted side Middlesbrough completed a fine weekend for the new boys by beating near neighbours Sunderland, before the weekend was rounded off with another first; a first game at the Olympic Stadium (or London Stadium). A Michail Antonio header giving them victory to cap a memorable occasion.

But who has made this week’s 3 up 3 down?
