3 Up, 3 Down: Featuring Manchester United and Arsenal stars

What an end to the Premier League weekend. After Chelsea won their eleventh straight game to strengthen their grip on the top spot, Manchester City beat Arsenal to extend the Blues advantage at the top to a healthy seven points on Sunday night.

It looked as if it would stay that way during a tepid Merseyside Derby, but a late winner from Sadio Mane after good work from Daniel Sturridge put Liverpool back to second place and within sight of the top.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Manchester United and Southampton, while at the bottom, Swansea and Hull fell deeper into trouble after poor defeats.

But who made this week’s 3 up 3 down?

Too old? Too slow? With each passing week, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is showing his doubters how wrong they are after another virtuoso display.

West Bromwich Albion were in fine form going into their match against a massively improving Manchester United, but were behind within five minutes thanks to a bullet header from the Swede.

He then doubled his total in the second half, flicking the ball over the legs of the onrushing defenders before drilling in a fabulous strike.

That’s now 10 goals in nine games for Ibrahimovic. Even at 35, he’s still got it.
