Snodgrass’ inclusion in the down section is not a reflection on his ability, he is by far Hull City’s most important player, but it is because he wins the Dele Alli Award for shameful dive of the week.

Scott Dann was nowhere near pulling down the Scotsman in the area when he fell to the ground, giving Hull a penalty in the first half, which he duly scored.

Every point will count for Hull, but doing it by diving is not the way to go about staying up.
