Jose Mourinho has finally brought the Armenian attacking midfielder in from the cold, and he is being shown what a stupid decision it was to ever leave him out in the first place.

Mkhitaryan’s crisp finish was the difference between United and Tottenham, who have now lost back-to-back away games for the first time since March 2014.

The ex-Dortmund man was easily the best player on the pitch, and is already showing his worth to Jose Mourinho’s side. The top four may not be beyond them if he carries on like this.
