3 Up 3 Down
3 Up, 3 Down: Featuring Manchester City and West Ham stars
Up: Jermain Defoe
When Jermain Defoe left England for Toronto almost three years ago, he had 124 Premier League goals to his name and looked as if he would never add to that total.
Now, 26 goals on, the Sunderland man has joined an elite club of just eight players to have scored 150 times in the top division since 1992.
He managed it in a pretty special way, too, taking down a flick on from Duncan Watmore before beating two defenders and firing low into the bottom corner. It was vintage Defoe, who looks as sharp at 34 as he did at 17. What a player he has been.
