What a week for the 20-year-old Belgian.

After grabbing a vital away goal in Liverpool’s impressive draw away to Borussia Dortmund on Thursday night, Origi had to make do with coming on for the lively Sheyi Ojo with Liverpool 2-1 up on Stoke City. Soon after his introduction, Liverpool were further ahead, thanks to a fine header, and stretched their advantage to 4-1 thanks to another Origi strike.

Three goals in two games represents a fine return from Origi, who has really flourished under Jurgen Klopp. If he can avoid the injuries that hindered the middle of his campaign, Liverpool could have a really fine striker on their hands come next season.
