Who knew that this kid would be so good? At just 19 years of age, Alli is showing the confidence and maturity of a player well beyond his years, and is one of the primary reasons as to why Tottenham Hotspur are launching a serious  assault on the Champions League places.

After a season of great performances, Alli took his growing reputation to new heights with a stunning goal that put Tottenham into a 2-1 lead against Crystal Palace. The magic of the turn and volley that sent Spurs on their way to a vital win typified Alli’s dream debut campaign. It was a thrilling combination of skill, class and talent all rolled into one. A truly astounding goal.

Coupled with his wonder strike, Alli put in another mature and wonderful performance in front of the onlooking England manager Roy Hodgson. It would be criminal if Alli is not at least in the squad come the European Championships this summer and on current form, should be one of the first names in the first eleven. What a talent he is.
