Down: Arthur Masuaku
Arthur Masuaku was brought to West Ham to cover for the injured Aaron Cresswell, who has developed a reputation as a solid and dependable left-back. Masuaku looks anything but.
The Irons conceded four goals for the second consecutive week, this time to the notoriously goal-shy West Bromwich Albion, and Masuaku was a nightmare in defence. His handball under little pressure gave the Baggies a penalty, and he was generally run ragged by an attack which had only scored twice previously this season.
Not a performance to remember for the Frenchman. Hammers fans will be hoping – no, pleading – that he returns to the bright form he displayed in the first few matches of the campaigns.
