Down: Liverpool

There is definitely an ill-feeling around Liverpool at the moment.

A run of just one win in six games has left them languishing down in ninth position, and a recent ticket price announcement increased the tension around Anfield. After struggling into a 2-0 lead over Sunderland on Saturday, they looked home and dry, but a ticket protest in the 77^th minute that saw most of the stands empty led to a remarkable collapse that summed up their season.

The squad is average, their league position is poor and now the fans are getting on the backs of the board. Things need to turn around quickly if 2015/16 is to be saved. It does not appear possible that this will happen in terms of their league position, so cup football may well be the priority for Jurgen Klopp once he has returned to duty at Melwood following a bout of appendicitis.
