Down: Kevin De Bruyne
It would be easy to feature the mass brawl at the end of the Manchester City v Chelsea game in the down category this weekend, but the game was long gone by then. The real reason for City’s demise was the disastrous miss of Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgian had an open goal to tap into after 58 minutes of the match to make the score 2-0, but he inexplicably hit the bar from two yards out.
Two minutes later, Chelsea equalised before going onto win the game and the rest, they say, is history.
A disaster for a great player against his former club.
