With each passing week, it becomes increasingly likely that Leicester City’s improbable title challenge will not falter, and they will indeed become Champions in May. They were not at their best in a plucky 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, but they are now just seven games from the most unlikely of title victories. Remarkable.

Behind them, Tottenham and Arsenal kept up the pressure with comprehensive wins, but Manchester City fell further behind with a damning defeat to a Marcus Rashford inspired Manchester United in a crucial derby. United and West Ham are now right on City’s coattails in the hunt for the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Norwich moved out of the relegation zone at the expense of Newcastle and Sunderland, who shared the spoils in an entertaining derby. Swansea City look to have secured their survival after a scrappy 1-0 win over Aston Villa.

Comeback of the weekend must go to Southampton, who reversed a 2-0 half-time deficit to stun Liverpool. But was this enough for any of their stars to make it into this week’s 3 up 3 down?
