Down: Crystal Palace
Just a few weeks ago Crystal Palace were sat fifth in the Premier League and looked like an outside bet for the European football. At one point, Manuel Pellegrini even included the Eagles in a list of title challengers.
However, since Christmas, the wheels have come off the Palace bus. Prior to 25th December, they lost just six Premier League games, but since the turn of the year have lost all five. They are win-less in seven, struggling for goals and clean sheets and; most embarrassingly of all, have even lost to Aston Villa.
Thanks to the close nature of this peculiar Premier League campaign, Palace may just have a shout of getting back into the European places, but should they continue to lose games such as the home tie against Bournemouth, they may have to start looking over their shoulder.
