Up: Fraser Forster
Southampton have had an up and down season, but in recent weeks certainly seem to be following a positive curve. In their last four games, the Saints have not conceded a goal, picking up ten points in the process, and one of the main reasons for that is the return of England goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
The ex-Celtic keeper was magnificent against Arsenal, just as he was in the same fixture 12 months ago, and denied Arsenal from furthering their title charge. Ten Saves and a clean sheet represent a wonderful personal performance for Forster, but his influence does not stop between the posts. Southampton, who looked horribly disorganised at the back in some of their more dour periods of the season, suddenly look regimented and organised once again. The reason for this upturn in fortunes? Fraser Forster.
