Down: Martin de Roon
Middlesbrough had done almost everything right at the home of champions Leicester City, twice taking the lead either side of a harsh penalty decision in the first half, a lead which they carried all the way to 90 minutes.
But then came the mistake. Wes Morgan, a lumbering centre back was felled by midfielder Martin De Roon as he tried to side step him in the box, bringing a Leicester penalty that was duly scored by Islam Slimani.
Boro would have walked away with all three points if not for the recklessness of the Dutchman.
