3 Up, 3 Down: Featuring Arsenal and Chelsea

Gameweek 13 of the 2016/17 season was another good one for the four title contenders, all four of whom won to open up a big gap to the rest of the Premier League table.

Tottenham lost for the first time against leaders Chelsea, leaving them four points behind the Champions League spots and seven off the top.

Lower down, there was a first win for three months for Swansea, who overcame Crystal Palace in a crazy game in South Wales. The Eagles are now only out of the relegation zone on goal difference after a point for struggling Hull.

But who made it into this weekend’s 3 up, 3 down?

Swansea have needed a win for a very long time, and would have taken one in any form, but there was something a little bit special about their 5-4 triumph over Crystal Palace.

It was all set up for a comfortable afternoon when Leroy Fer put them 3-1 up, but twenty minutes later they entered stoppage time behind. Step forward world cup winner Fernando Llorente, who diverted the ball in twice in stoppage time to give Bob Bradley something to celebrate.

The win moved Swansea off the bottom and could spark a revival for their season.
