When Kevin Mirallas joined Fiorentina on a season-long loan this summer, the Everton winger appeared to have earned a new lease of life in Italy.
Yet after three months in Florence, Mirallas has made just three starts in Serie A, contributing zero goals and zero assists in the process.
As Mirallas fails to make an impact in Italy, it appears unlikely the Everton loanee has a meaningful role to play at Goodison Park in the future.
The Belgian international has played a grand total of eight times in the league, yet both his fleeting substitute appearances and rare starts have proved fruitless.

Furthermore, the 31-year-old also has struggled to transform the fortunes of Fiorentina when he has been on the pitch. In the eight matches he’s played a part in, the Serie A club have won just twice, lost once, and drawn five times.
Meanwhile back at Mirallas’ parent club, the likes of Richarlison, Bernard, Ademola Lookman, and Theo Walcott are ahead of the winger in Marco Silva’s pecking order.
Kevin Mirallas must quickly improve his Fiorentina performances or risk watching his Everton career chances evaporate.
