It has been an extremely busy transfer window for Liverpool and it is unclear at this stage whether or not boss Jurgen Klopp has finished his spending spree.
Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker have all checked-in on Merseyside this summer and the rest of the Premier League will surely have taken notice of the business done by the Reds.
Given that a glut of new talent has arrived at Anfield this summer there could be some movement in the opposite direction for some of the club’s fringe players, with several members of the squad linked with moves elsewhere.
With the new signings complementing a squad that is already pretty good there will be several players who won’t be needed next season and it will be imperative that Klopp offloads them before the campaign gets underway.
The Boot Room takes a look at three players who the Reds should offload before the window slams shut in a few weeks…

Loris Karius
The arrival of Roma stopper Alisson Becker has seriously hampered Karius’ chances of first-team football at Anfield and a series of high-profile errors could see Liverpool cut their losses on the custodian.
The German was guilty of two humiliating mistakes during a 3-1 reverse to Real Madrid in last season’s Champions League final, whilst some more baffling goalkeeping in pre-season has left him fighting to remain at the club.
The 25-year-old is quite simply not the answer to Liverpool’s goalkeeping problems, particularly if they hold any ambition to ever get their hands on the Premier League crown.
Divock Origi
The Belgian striker was on loan with Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg last term and netted six goals from 31 top-flight outings.
When push comes to shove however it seems that the 23-year-old just doesn’t have the required quality to become a player capable of being consistently good in the English Premier League.
Whilst fellow forgotten man Daniel Sturridge has shone during Liverpool’s pre-season campaign, Origi has offered nothing to suggest he can pull up any trees in the first-team during 2018/19.

Dominic Solanke
The 20-year-old didn’t enjoy a bad first season playing first-team football in the Premier League for Liverpool and he will be thankful for the opportunities given to him by Jurgen Klopp, especially as they wouldn’t have been anywhere near as forthcoming had he stayed with Chelsea.
The fact of the matter remains, however, that Solanke netted just twice in 30 games in all competitions last season and a loan move away from the club might be best for both parties.
If Liverpool can arrange a Premier League, or top end Championship loan deal, then it would certainly aid his development no end.
