Macedonia defeated Liechtenstein in UEFA Nations League action last night. The 4-1 result would have been of note for Leeds United fans. Macedonia won with Ezgjan Alioski playing a key role.
Featuring in a left-back role, he scored the fourth goal of the game as Macedonia romped to victory.
It was a superb performance from the player and one which will have Leeds fans hopeful of similar form upon his return to Elland Road.
It does beg one question? Can he translate his international scoring form to West Yorkshire?

Alioski has now scored in his last three games for his nation. That is the same amount he has managed for Leeds in 12 games this season.
Many Leeds fans have given the 26-year-old some stick for performances this season. But Marcelo Bielsa appears to have improved him by using him more on the left than the right-hand side this term. His performance v Brentford was perhaps his best of the campaign yet for the West Yorkshire side.
It appears he can score from left-back, a position he may be asked to fill in the absence of an injured Barry Douglas.
If he can start scoring goals as regularly for Leeds as he has been for his nation, then Leeds fans will have something to cheer about.
