Eros Grezda’s agent has told the Scottish Sun that there is interest in his client as the summer window kicks in, but that the Albania international is happy to remain at Rangers.
There was plenty of hype surrounding the signing of Grezda, with many of the belief that he could replace the loss of Jamie Murphy who remains on the comeback trail from his anterior cruciate ligament woes.
Signed for £2million (Scottish Sun) from Europa League opponents NK Osijek, Grezda managed just 17 appearances for Rangers throughout the entire campaign. Question marks over his fitness, and indeed his ability, remain.
Many Rangers fans are of the belief that the 12-time international should leave Ibrox, while some believe he should be given a chance. Now, his agent, Ives Cakarun, has commented on whether Grezda will be at Rangers next season.

“There is interest in him but let’s see. He’s frustrated because he got injured twice. But he likes Rangers, he likes Glasgow, so let’s see. He’s playing for the national team next week so after that we will talk with the club.
“He will be happy if he has to stay with Rangers but if not, this is life you know. He still has a contract with Rangers and really at the moment I cannot give any concrete answers. We will make the decision with the coach.”
TBR’s view
Grezda needs to be sold. But Rangers are going to make a loss on the winger, given that he has shown a lack of form and momentum since joining the Gers this summer.
Many fans are frustrated, but the main factor that will depend on whether Grezda stays, is how much Rangers will be offered for the flop signing made by Steven Gerrard last summer.
