Moise Kean could prove to be the key if Everton truly want Adrien Rabiot. Reports link the Toffees with the Juventus midfielder.
A report from CalcioMercato suggests Everton have interest in Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman is certainly an interesting player right now, given his ability and lack of games with Juventus.

Do Everton really need him after signing Abdoulaye Doucouré and Allan? We’re not so sure – although, Rabiot is a fantastic player and one Everton would probably find room for.
And if they do want him, Moise Kean might be the key.
Returning home
Everton last dealt with Juventus when they signed Kean for £29m in July 2019. Importantly, as the Guardian says here, there was no buy-back clause. But the Italians wanted one.
They clearly rate him very highly and why wouldn’t they? Kean scored six goals in 13 games as an 18-year-old with the Old Lady. And given Kean is still only 20, they almost certainly still like him.
He didn’t work out at Everton last season, of course, and that prompted a loan to Paris Saint-Germain. Hopefully, he kicks on there because if he does, Kean would be the ideal bargaining tool in any Rabiot pursuit.
The rapid rise of Dominic Calvert-Lewin means Everton aren’t in any need of a young forward, too. Kean wouldn’t be a major loss if they secured a solid fee – or a highly talented player.
But this relies on Kean finding his feet with PSG. If he does, next summer could become very interesting.
