Timo Werner is on the verge of joining Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.
That is according to Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, who has given an update on Werner’s future on X.
So, what is now being reported about Tottenham Hotspur and Timo Werner? Let’s take a look.
Tottenham Hotspur about to sign Timo Werner
Well, according to Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of completing a deal for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
Gold has reported on X that the former Chelsea forward is flying into England today and will be at Tottenham this evening.
The 27-year-old Germany international will then start the process of his transfer to Spurs from Leipzig, according to the well-known and well-respected journalist.
Sky Sports have reported that Werner will sign a loan deal with Spurs, who will have the option to make it permanent at the end of the season.

Former Spurs players Ramon Vega and Jamie O’Hara both have backed Werner to be a success at Tottenham despite his struggles at Chelsea.
My View: Tottenham Hotspur have to use Timo Werner wisely
In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has to use Timo Werner wisely and has to play to his strengths.
Werner may play as a striker, but he is not a prolific goalscorer. After all, the 27-year-old Germany international has scored only two goals this season and found the back of the net only 10 times in 56 Premier League games when he was at Chelsea.
The forward is very quick and works hard. I believe that Werner should be played out wide and has to facilitate Richarlison to score goals.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season. It will be interesting to see how Werner contributes.
