Ange Postecoglou handed a debut to Wilson Odobert and labelled his first outing in Tottenham colours as ‘really exciting’.

Dejan Kulusevski unsung hero vs Everton
Dejan Kulusevski was the real unsung hero against Everton last night and his terrific Sofascore statistics only amplify that.

Kulusevski laid on the assist for Bissouma’s opener and was really proficient in possession, as evinced by his pass completion rate.
The Sweden international perhaps could’ve had more assists too as he made four key passes from his new role in midfield.
Ange Postecoglou impressed by Dejan Kulusevski
Speaking post-match, Postecoglou hailed Kulusevski’s display.
“We had Deki playing in midfield today, Kulusevski, I thought he was really good and we had Sonny scored a goal through the middle and he scored a goal when he went out wide,” the Spurs boss said, via Football London.
Perhaps he’ll start to play the number eight role much more frequently as it certainly suits his skill set.
Tottenham are next in action on September 1st, as they travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United.
