Some Arsenal fans were reacting after Ainsley Maitland-Niles was linked with a move to Watford and Southampton.

According to The Mirror, the Hornets are eyeing a transfer for the 23-year-old. Meanwhile, the Saints are back in for the ace after he rejected Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men in favour of West Brom in January.

He spent the second half of last season on loan with the Baggies, where he endured the heartbreak of relegation.

The Englishman voiced his frustration on missing out on the England squad for Euro 2020, calling on the Gunners to paint a clear picture.

It’s crucial Arsenal approve a sale for Maitland-Niles this summer. His attitude has stunk since he returned from the Hawthorns.

The full-back’s interview demanding clarity over his future seems like he cares about himself more than the club.

Some of the language used is quite stunning: ‘I might have to kiss goodbye to Arsenal’.

And his reluctance to play as a full-back is quite sensational given how good of a defender he is.

But, what can the club do? Plus, Maitland-Niles would raise much needed funds for a club struggling financially.

Here is how fans reacted…
