£25m powerhouse on Spurs radar is Juve's No. 1 attacking target - report
With the January transfer window open, Tottenham Hotspur now have the opportunity to strengthen.
Spurs only have one senior centre-forward in their ranks and Antonio Conte could do with support for Harry Kane.
Tottenham have reportedly been eyeing Gianluca Scamacca in recent weeks.
The Express wrote earlier this week that the Sassuolo forward is one for Spurs fans “to keep an eye on” in January.
The outlet claims the 23-year-old is “appreciated” by Tottenham director Fabio Paratici.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported that fellow suitors Juventus are especially keen on Scamacca.
“The primary attacking target is still Gianluca Scamacca,” he wrote.
“The Bianconeri are eager to set up a meeting as soon as possible to begin talks.”
While Dusan Vlahovic is Serie A’s most coveted striker, Scamacca is also a great talent.
He had to bide his time to make his Sassuolo breakthrough following a number of loan spells.
However, Scamacca is now impressing in black-and-green, with six goals from 19 Serie A appearances this term.
The 6ft 5in striker is dominant in the air, holds the ball up well, can pick out a killer pass and is mobile for his size.
