Alasdair Gold has said on his Youtube channel that Harry Winks wants to stay at Tottenham Hotspur, despite claims that he is up for sale.
Up for grabs
The Times claim that Nuno has told the Tottenham midfielder that he can depart this summer.
However, getting him out the door could be easier said than done.
Despite interest from Everton, according to Fabrizio Romano, Winks is digging his heels in and has decided that staying at Tottenham could be his best option.
“Harry Winks is an interesting one. Up until this point he has certainly, I’m led to believe, has signalled his intent to stay and fight for his place under Nuno,” Gold said.
“He’s one of those players, where especially as a home grown, he needs to start having a good season again.
“He’s one they can get a bit of money for, there’s talk Villa and Everton have an interest in him.”
Fighting to stay
Winks’ desire to stick around at Spurs and try his luck under a new manager is understandable.

The England international midfielder has only ever played for Tottenham before and has a strong connection to the club.
His loyalty actually should be considered admirable, but whether it is the best stance for him remains to be seen.
Winks struggled for game time under Jose Mourinho last term and when he was played he did little to suggest that he was needed in Tottenham’s squad.
With Oliver Skipp now arguably ahead of him in the pecking order, Winks could well find it even more difficult to get regular starting chances under Nuno.
And it may be best for his career if he did move away to a club where he would start every week.
