Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz is starting to find his feet at the Emirates Stadium following his big-money summer move.

The 24-year-old Gunners ace is up and running in terms of goals, and his efforts have helped Mikel Arteta‘s side record four consecutive Premier League wins.

And ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Burnley, the Gunners boss spoke highly of Havertz, saying: “I love him. I think we all love him as a player, as a person, everything he brings to the team.”

Now, Dean Jones has given his verdict on the Germany international’s stance at Arsenal, and it’s a positive one for the Gunners faithful.

The transfer insider, writing on GiveMeSport, noted how Havertz is “willing to get hurt” for the Arsenal cause, but is also great on a technical level.

Jones also believes Havertz and teammate Leandro Trossard are pleased with Arteta’s faith in them, resulting in them being eager to repay that faith.

“He will take one for the team, he’s willing to get hurt,” said Jones. “At times, he’s willing to put his body on the line. But he can also come up with little moments of really intricate play that can lead to goals.

“So I do think that the faith in Havertz and Leandro Trossard is going to pay off, because I think that both will actually be relieved that Arsenal are willing to continue to give them opportunities and they want this chance to shine.”

Kai Havertz very much appreciated at Arsenal

Havertz is obviously a quality player whose efforts at Bayer Leverkusen made him one of the most highly sought after players in Europe.

Chelsea won that race initially, but his time at the club didn’t go to plan. Then again, not many players’ times at Stamford Bridge is going to plan at present.

Now at Arsenal, Havertz is currently being utilised in different ways, with Arteta making use of his versatility.

As good as it is to be versatile, sometimes it can stop a player from having the best brought out in him, compared to nailing down one position and mastering all of its tenets.

One thing’s for sure – Arteta demands the highest standards of his players, both in terms of quality and also attitude. If he’s speaking so highly of Havertz, then clearly the player is doing something right.
