23 shots, 0 goals: On-loan Tottenham attacker is really struggling to score right now
The Republic of Ireland international impressed in League 1 with MK Dons last term and earned a move to the second tier.
But as Ryan Lowe’s side have been involved in a host of low-scoring games this season, Parrott has struggled to find the back of the net.
Nobody in the Championship has had more shots on goal without scoring this term, with Parrott topping the list with 23 unsuccessful shots.

That said, the old cliche is that it is only time to worry when teams and strikers are not getting chances, rather than when they are missing them.
So by that logic, it is only a matter of time before Parrott scores and perhaps if he got one, he would go on a run of good form in front of goal.
He did not score during the most recent international break either, with the Irish media not impressed by his display against Armenia.
Parrott was once talked about as a potential Spurs backup to Harry Kane but his rise has not been as smooth as he might have hoped.
He is going about it gradually and trying to find the back of the net regularly in the second tier is all part of that development.
So is staying strong mentally when things are not going right in front of goal and if he does that and keeps getting chances, his fortunes will eventually change.
