Thomas Frank started with a win as manager of Tottenham Hotspur, however, the performance of one player will have disappointed him.
Tottenham Hotspur defeated Reading 2-0, with goals from Will Lankshear and Luka Vuskovic securing the win at the Madejski Stadium.
Following a rather dull opening 45 minutes in Berkshire, two quick goals at the start of the second period saw the game spring into life.
Thomas Frank will have left the League One ground rather pleased with his team’s overall performance, but there is one key player’s future he will be seriously questioning.

Son Heung-min struggles against Reading
Son Heung-min had a rather frustrating first 45 minutes of pre-season as he struggled to make things happen during his brief cameo.
The South Korean captain wasn’t quite at the races against the League One opposition, with his first touch often letting him down.
Last season, Son’s performances were criticised, and there was a sense that his days at the top level were starting to look behind him.
Against Reading, the 33-year-old lost possession 11 times and managed a pass accuracy of just 63 percent from 14 passes.

TBR Football exclusively revealed that Tottenham are open to selling Son this summer, should the right offer arrive for him.
Son, who cost £22m, is unlikely to have a prominent role in the squad, with Mathys Tel, Mikey Moore, and Wilson Odobert all competing for a spot on the left.
Frank remains keen to sign Wissa, as reported by TBR Football, and that will only limit the captain’s minutes further.
Frank revealed he is yet to decide on Tottenham’s captain for next season, which suggests that he is also unsure about the forward’s future at this stage.
Mikey Moore looked really sharp against Reading
TBR Football rated Mikey Moore 8/10 against Reading as the winger looked very lively during the first half.
Moore only just returned to training on Tuesday, but was straightaway put into the starting eleven at the Madejski Stadium.
The teenager played with little fear as he kept driving at the heart of the Royals’ defence throughout the opening 45 minutes.
He linked up nicely with Destiny Udogie down the left-hand side for Spurs, and his display will have impressed Frank.
Moore will get another chance to impress next Saturday when Spurs take on Luton Town in their second pre-season match.
