£200k-a-week Tottenham player raves about ‘great’ Manchester City star who’s got better
Tottenham man Harry Kane has raved about the ability of Manchester City star Phil Foden.
£200,000-a-week Spurs forward Kane will play alongside the Man City talent as part of England’s Euros campaign this summer, and he’s given him big praise.
Foden has just enjoyed a stunning individual campaign at the Etihad Stadium.
Aged 21, he’s turned into a key player in Pep Guardiola’s side, winning both the Premier League and Carabao Cup this season.
Ultimately, he ended the campaign with 16 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
Kane has stated that the young attacking midfielder is only getting better.
“Phil is great. He loves football. He loves being out on the pitch and he loves expressing himself,” Kane said.
“You can see that as he’s played over the last couple of years he’s constantly improved. His understanding has got better, his final product has got better and we all know how good he is at going past players.”
Kane and Foden both crucial for England
If England achieve anything at Euro 2020, Kane and Foden will be at the heart of the success.
Kane, 27, is the Three Lions captain that has been world class at Spurs for years. Additionally, he’s able to convert that in an England shirt onto the biggest international stages.
Meanwhile, Foden is ready for his first senior international tournament.
His experience with England at youth level should be an advantage, but this is on a whole new scale.
The left-footed playmaker does have the ability to come to the fore for this England side.
