Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga was spotted joining in with the William Saliba chant on the pitch after the north London derby.

The Gunners secured another three points on Saturday after a comfortable 3-1 win over their bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

A stunning strike from Thomas Partey got Arsenal off to the perfect start. Then goals from Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka secured a massive win for Mikel Arteta’s men.

Lokonga has mainly played in a back-up role to Partey since making the £18 million switch from Anderlecht last summer (Goal). But the Belgian got some more minutes under his belt on Saturday and Gunners fans will love what he did after the game.

Lokonga joining in with Saliba chant

On a video on Arsenal’s website, Arteta and his squad can be seen celebrating a massive win over their bitter rivals.

The Gunners fans have been blown away by Saliba’s performances so far this season and rewarded the defender with his own chant.

At full-time after the win over Spurs, supporters were once again in full voice to show their appreciation for the French centre-back after another brilliant display.

And Lokonga is clearly a big fan of the chant as he was spotted joining in the celebrations. The midfielder can be seen raising his arms in the air and shouting: “Saliba!”

Arteta is building a tightly-knit squad at Arsenal and it’s clear to see all of the players are on board with his vision for the club.

Lokonga has mainly been used from the bench this season but did step in while Partey was sidelined. But the young midfielder seems more than happy with his role at this moment in time.

Arsenal fans will love to see all of their players invested in the team and Arteta has helped to build a strong bond between fans and players once again.
