Ahead of Arsenal’s crucial tie against Sevilla on Wednesday, Amario Cozier-Duberry has now been spotted in first-team training.

Cozier-Duberry is now considered one of the key talents in Arsenal’s youth set-up, and seems right on the cusp of the first team.

And given the important players Mikel Arteta does have missing, Cozier-Dubbery may be a useful player to have around the Arsenal squad before Sevilla.

Arsenal released training footage ahead of the tie today, and the 18-year-old certainly doesn’t look out of place.

The club do of course sit top of their Champions League group after an important away win in Seville.

But given the loss in Lens, Arsenal can’t afford to slip up at the Emirates.

Wednesday will be a big opportunity to improve on some lack-lustre performances from Arsenal of late.

And given the lack of creative spark in Arsenal’s recent displays, the likes of Cozier-Duberry may now believe they can make a difference.

Martin Odegaard remains a doubt for the tie with Sevilla given a recent issue, and that could therefore pave the way for the likes of Fabio Vieira

Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe will all be missing the game, three players who could have been key.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how Mikel Arteta sets up his midfield three tomorrow.

Some fans have been crying out for Declan Rice to return to the base of the midfield.

Not on the basis of poor attacking displays, rather what the team misses when he’s not conducting the game.

Should Rice moving into the six, that may allow Arsenal to deploy an offensive pairing of Kai Havertz and Vieira.

Arteta may deem that midfield unbalanced, but it’s certainly a possibility.

Another would be to promote Oleksandr Zinchenko into the number eight position – another move discussed by fans.

Either way, with all this uncertainty it’s clear to see why the likes of Cozier-Duberry may think he has a realistic chance of entering the Arsenal squad against Sevilla.
