Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge is being linked with a move to the Premier League in January. As reported by the Express, Tottenham and Fulham are both said to be keen on the talented Genk midfielder. He is valued at around £15 million and both clubs could afford such a fee.
But seeing Berge linked with such a move is a sickener for Everton.
Back in January 2017, Berge made a move to Genk in a deal reportedly worth £1.8 million. As reported by Aften Posten, Everton were also keen on the player but not prepared to pay the same as Genk for the then-Valerenga midfield maestro.

This summer he was linked with Sevilla and now the likes of Spurs and Fulham are keen on signing the player.
Since Everton decided not to spend £1.8 million on the player, Berge has gone on to become a regular in the Norwegian side and has helped his side to an unbeaten start to the Belgian Pro League this term.
Everton will no doubt hope he does not come to the UK and prove them wrong for not being a little less stingy with their transfer funds.
